Requirements for dimensional type repair
Poor size of type repair:
1.Confirm the relationship between the size modification method and the mold core

2.Confirm the difference between the specification value and the trimming method
(for example: the measured part size is 51.21, the part specification is 51.25 ± 0.05, and the difference with the specification value is 0.04)
3.Before the size modification of gold mould without drawing, it is necessary to measure and record the relevant size of mould core, and keep the report for tracking and comparison after the size modification
4.Make sure that the size of the existing die is consistent with the size of the drawing before the size modification of the metal mold with the drawing, and make a record after measurement
5.It is necessary to measure and make records after the completion of the pattern repair and compare the records made before the pattern repair to confirm whether the pattern repair is in place
6.In the case of type trimming, it is necessary to consider whether the dimension method connected with the difference will be affected and confirm the relevant edge dimension value (for example)

Grinding machine: the highest precision, the fastest processing efficiency (without polishing)
CNC milling machine: high machining accuracy, high efficiency (no need to polish)
Wire cutting, discharge: same as EDM, machining surface
There is spark pattern, and the side of discharge plate shall be considered in the dimension repair method
(spark pattern on slightly polished surface is required)
